The chain links and pins are heat-treated for wear resistance. The Chain Conveyor’s body is typically a welded steel trough that contains the conveyed material and protects the chain. Trough geometry is engineered to minimize bridging and buildup for sticky pulps. Heavy-duty reduction gearboxes, flexible couplings, and automatic or manual tensioning systems maintain chain alignment and mitigate shock loads from heavy feed surges.

1. Transport of baled or shredded recycled paper, rejects, and coarse screenings to pulpers or waste-handling equipment.
